Short, because we collect very little. This covers sapwood.io and the consulting work. Last updated September 2026.
Sapwood LLC, a revenue operations and GTM engineering consultancy in Denver, Colorado. For anything you do on this website, we are the controller: we decide what is collected and why.
We are not a data broker. We do not compile, sell, share or license personal information to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising. There is no advertising anywhere on this site.
We set no cookies of our own, and our analytics counts page views without them, so there is no profile of you anywhere. No tracking pixels, no session recording, no fingerprinting, no advertising.
We do use browser storage, which the rules treat the same way cookies are treated, so here is the whole of it:
Change your mind any time with cookie settings, or exclude your browser entirely at no-track.
The booking page embeds a calendar from a third party so you can pick a time without leaving the site. That embed loads their tool, which sets its own cookies in your browser under their terms, not ours. It is the only place on sapwood.io where that happens. If you would rather not, email us instead and we will find a time by hand.
If you fill in a form we receive what you typed: your name, business email, company, and what you need help with, along with the campaign link that brought you if there was one. We use it to reply to you and for nothing else.
If you book a call, the calendar tool records the time you picked and the details you entered. The diagnostic is free, so no payment is taken and no card details are collected.
If we work together, we will see your systems and your data. That is governed by the engagement agreement rather than this page, and the short version is that it stays yours, we take read access where read access is enough, and we hand everything back documented.
A small number, each doing one job: cloud hosting and cookieless analytics, form handling, payment processing, calendar booking on the booking page, email, and web font delivery, which means the font provider receives your IP address when a page loads.
A current list is available on request. We do not sell your information to any of them and none of them are advertising networks.
Analytics is aggregated and anonymous and cannot be tied back to you. Form submissions and email we keep for as long as the conversation is useful, then delete. Client work is retained for the duration of the engagement and a reasonable period after, then deleted on request.
Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@sapwood.io and we will action it rather than argue about it.
If you are in the EU or UK, our basis for processing what you send us is our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry, and for marketing, your consent, withdrawable from any message. Data is processed in the United States.
We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioural advertising. There is nothing to opt out of. We collect no biometric identifiers, no health data, and no consumer or household data. Rights under Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and Utah law are honoured to the extent they apply.
Kaypo is our deal scoring product and it works differently, because there we process data on behalf of the company that subscribes rather than for ourselves. It has its own privacy notice covering what it reads from a CRM, the optional website tag, retention and sub-processors.
Email hello@sapwood.io.
