Under about five percent on accounts is workable. Above ten percent, reporting built on account counts stops being reliable and pipeline gets counted more than once.
Company names vary by spelling, suffix and abbreviation. Cascadia, Cascadia Inc and Cascadia Health look different to a matcher and identical to a person. Domain is the only stable key most records carry.
Merging is the easy half. The rules that created them are still running, so the rate returns within a quarter unless creation is fixed: match on domain at entry, and audit which integrations can create records rather than update them.
