CRM data quality tools, and what they cannot fix.

Questions

What are the most important CRM data quality metrics?

Duplicate rate on accounts, blank source on closed revenue, records with no owner, and required fields with no consumer. Those four cover most of what goes wrong.

Do we need a data quality tool?

Often native validation rules are enough and simply were never configured. Tools earn their place on volume, multi object matching, and prevention at creation.

Why does data quality degrade again after a cleanup?

Because the rules that created the problem are unchanged. Cleanup without governance returns to roughly its old state within two quarters.

Do you resell any of these?

No. Sapwood takes no vendor commissions and is not a partner of anyone named here.

Want to talk it through?

Leave an email and I will reply myself, usually the same day. No sequence, no newsletter, and no calendar link unless you ask for one.

One reply from a person. Nothing else.
