A revenue operations audit examines your CRM data model, pipeline stages, routing, handoffs, reporting, and attribution, then ranks what it finds by cost to the business. A good one produces a written document you could hand to another firm. The Sapwood audit is free, against a market where audits are typically $5,000 or bundled into a larger engagement.

What gets examined

Data model and field usage

What exists, what is populated, what is abandoned, and what the object structure implies about how you were meant to sell.

Pipeline stages and exit criteria

Whether a stage means the same thing to every rep, and whether the forecast has anything underneath it.

Data quality

Duplicate rates, missing source, orphaned records, and the rules currently allowing them in.

Routing and handoffs

Where leads go, how long they sit, and where they fall between teams.

Attribution chain

Whether source survives from first touch through closed revenue, and where it breaks.

Reporting

What exists, what is trusted, what is rebuilt by hand every month, and what nobody opens.

One week, free, and you receive scored findings ranked by cost with a prioritized fix list. No obligation to continue.

What you receive

Scored findings

Every issue rated by severity and ranked by what it is costing you, not by how interesting it is to fix.

A prioritized fix list

In order, with effort estimates, so you can act on it in stages rather than all at once.

A recommendation on where to start

Including when the answer is that you do not need us.

The document itself

Yours to keep and hand to any firm you choose, including a different one.

Questions

How much does a RevOps audit cost?

The Sapwood diagnostic is free. Elsewhere audits typically run $5,000 or more, or are bundled free into a larger engagement in exchange for a longer commitment.

How long does a RevOps audit take?

One week, assuming access is granted promptly.

What access do you need for an audit?

Read access to your CRM and reporting tools, plus admin on a sandbox if one exists. We change nothing during an audit.

Do we have to work with you afterwards?

No. The findings document is yours regardless, and it is written to be usable by any firm.

Is a free audit better value?

Rarely. Free audits are sales instruments and tend to find problems the firm is best positioned to sell against. Paying a small fee changes the incentive.

Let us look under the hood.

Read-only access to your systems, and a written report you keep either way.
